An industrial park is an area of land set aside for industrial development located close to transport facilities where more than one transport modality coincide.

Tanzania Automotive Technology Centre (TATC) has been set to attract new business that will form and an integration of infrastructure to constitute the Industrial Park

The area of TATC is situated near the Dar-Es-Salaam- Morogoro Road and it has high power electricity supply (Three Phases Power), High volume water pipe and large water reservoir of which are among the criteria of an Industrial Park. the missing links are; Railroads, Port (harbour) and airport which are about 45 Km away from the area.
