TATC-Nyumbu Hospital
has been in operation since 1983 working as a Unit Aid station. From 1998 it
improved its services and started working as a Health Centre in accordance
with prevailing National health policies.
The aim of hospital is to
provide preventive and curative services to both military and civilian
workers and their families and nearby villagers (inhabitants) who are
estimated to lie in range of 10,000 to 100,000.

various conditions i.e. communicable and non communicable diseases.
Minor procedures like
management of accidents e.g. reduction, POP, Suturing and removal of
foreign bodies, excision etc . Non complicated operations can be done
like caesacian sections, hydrocellectomy, hearniorrhapphy, etc
