OBJECTIVES AND PROCESSES

The overall objective of the strategic plan is to enhance the financial sustainability of TATC.

 

PURPOSE OF THE PLAN

The purpose of the strategic plan is to Increase income from sale of Industrial and Automotive parts fabricated machinery and equipments and quality control services for military equipments.

 

Specific objectives

In order to deliver the above objectives the strategic plan has the following specific objectives;

  • Increased production and income from sales of Industrial parts

  • Increased production and income from sales of Automotive parts

  • Increased production and income from sales of fabricated machinery and equipment

  • Increased income from sales of quality control services for military equipment

  • Nyumbu products development

  • Marketing, business ,culture and competence of TATC staff development

  • Overall improvement in coordination and working of TATC

A key feature of the objectives is their focus on developing the core  business of TATC and making it financially sustainable. In the future, TATC's performance will be measured by its success in business.

 

PROCESS TO ACHIEVE OBJECTIVES

Processes are activities that embrace series of interrelated activities which have to be carried out in order to achieve the desired objectives. the processes listed below, each objective will be employed so as to achieve it.

  • Increased production and income from sales of Industrial parts

  • Provide value adding services to the existing products

  • Sell existing products and services to new markets

  • Introduce new products and services to existing market

  • Increased production and income from sales of Automotive parts

  • Provide value adding services to the existing products

Knowledge transfer within the organization

 

In terms of business management, knowledge is defined as required information as opposed to available or historical information. To remain relevant and effective in business means to maintain close touch with both the external and internal environments. This requires a good system for not only gathering and processing, but more importantly to transfer the required information to reach the places.
